  I ordered the lunch time rump. The presentation of the meal was appalling. The rump steak was of low quality and swimming in the runny mushroom sauce. The chips weren’t even hot!

  Oh dear! Every time I have dined at Beach House Springfield, it’s been the same disappointing result. Today I arrived during a quiet time (3pm)and there were at least 8 tables waiting to be cleared. Five staff members present during this time.

  Ordered the wings on Thursday wing night and they used to be normal size, tasty and good value, went there recently and they were the smallest wings I've ever seen, I even wondered if they were actually from a chicken and not a pigeon. Seriously downsized to probably less than half their previous size. Also celery dipping sticks were unwashed

  Whoever is cooking needs a spanking or a cooking class. My poached eggs were so over cooked they resembled hard boiled eggs. Our other meals were cold and hash brown far from cooked. Both coffees cold.

  Mixed experiences with this place. Sometimes they are amazing and other times they are average. Worth trying because if you get them on a good day it will be a great experience.
